Classic Diesel-Engine Cars

In addition to classic petrol-engine automobiles, the golden age of car engineering also produced some stunning diesel-engine automobiles. Vintage diesel engines weren't that dissimilar to those used in modern vehicles but were far less economical. Uneconomical they might be but classic diesel-engine cars were stylish and luxurious. The envy of any car park; vintage diesel automobiles were, and still are, in a class of their own. Diesel engines combined classic engineering and stunning bodywork to produce mesmerising automobiles. Key diesel automobiles from the classic time of car manufacture include the 1976 Tiga, the 1928 Bentley 6.5 litre 2 door Park Ward Coupe and the 1977 Ferrari 308 GTB. One of our favourite classic diesel models is the 1954 Bentley R-Type RHD. Classic, ahead of its time and innovative; the 1954 Bentley R-Type RHD was simply a feast for the eyes and the roads. High tech engineering and quality building means there are still a number of models around today.
